This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may and may not do with Onwu AI (the "Service"). It forms part of our Terms of Service. We may update it; the "Last updated" date shows the current version.
1. You must not use the Service to
- Break the law, or generate content that is illegal under UK law.
- Create or distribute child sexual abuse material, or any content that sexualises minors - this results in immediate termination and reporting to the authorities.
- Produce content that harasses, threatens, defames, or incites violence or hatred against people or groups.
- Generate malware, ransomware, exploits, phishing, or instructions to gain unauthorised access to systems or data.
- Create fraud, scams, fake identities, or deceptive content intended to mislead or defraud others.
- Produce disinformation, impersonation, or content designed to interfere with elections or democratic processes.
- Generate instructions for weapons (including chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or explosive) or other content that creates a serious risk of physical harm.
- Conduct surveillance, profiling, scraping, or processing of personal data about others without a lawful basis and their rights respected.
- Provide regulated advice (legal, medical, financial) as if it were professional advice, or present AI output as human-authored where that would mislead.
- Infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of third parties.
2. Technical misuse
- No automated bulk extraction, reselling, or reverse engineering of the Service.
- No attempts to bypass safety controls, rate limits, security, or usage measurement.
- No use that overloads or disrupts the Service or others' use of it.
3. Your responsibility for AI output
AI output can be wrong, biased or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing and how you use it. Do not rely on it for decisions that require professional judgement without independent verification.
4. Reporting misuse
Report abuse or content concerns to support@onwuai.co.uk. We investigate reports promptly.
5. Enforcement
We may warn, restrict, suspend or terminate accounts that breach this AUP, remove offending content, and report unlawful activity to the authorities. Serious breaches (e.g. CSAM, threats to life) lead to immediate termination without notice.
